The following represents a simple guide for getting around our site.
All Home Page information will contain current news regarding the Everett/Revere Youth Hockey Association. Various headlines and links appear in the Home Page description section. Just place your cursor on the Full Story link, to obtain complete details of the newsletter.
A new "Ticker Announcement Banner" has also been added. The Ticker represents a brief description for upcoming events.
The Scroll down Icon menu on the left side identifies today's date.
The first Icon is our Home Page. A sequence of our sponsors has also been added. Primary Sponsors will appear randomly by clicking the Home Page several times.
The following Icon is the "Select Team" buttons. This has been recently updated to display all the teams and their respective levels for the upcoming season 08-09.
Click on any of the "Select Team Icon:" to view that particular team.
As teams progress, your team's statistics will be updated. Individual statistics will not be recorded. Team Standings for the following Leagues will have a "Link" to their programs. Links will be provided for: Valley League and Dual State. Tournament Links may be available when applicable.
Team news is dedicated to your own team's news articles and planned activities. Team Photo shots (Digital Only) can be used to update your Teams' Favorite players. While important updates will be provided, this section will be used only for your own team announcements. (Tournaments you will attend, Holiday parties etc.). We will be working with your team parent representatives and coaches to obtain news articles and statistics. It is important to note here, updates will only be available if articles and game updates are submitted to the Web Site Contact Page. Parent Representatives and team member volunteers should contact Tina Snook, Website Administrator.
Player Roster's will be displayed, when Coach, Hockey Director or Registrar submits final roster information. If roster is not available for your team, please contact your coach to coordinate roster listing through the Web Site Contact Page. We will display the player name, jersey number, and hometown on the Roster page. Team photographs will be used when they become available.
When your team roster is displayed, you can access the player information by clicking on the player name.
News Icon: Displays current articles of interest and information.
Archive Icon: Previously posted news articles can be accessed.
Executive Icon: Displays the name of each of the current Executive Board of Directors. To access board member contact information and bios, place the cursor on the highlighted name and "click". It will display contact information for that person, including a brief description of the role each individual has while serving on the Board.
Events Icon: This is dedicated to upcoming Tournaments, Districts and other planned events throughout the year. Email announcements regarding General Membership meetings, Election Schedules, Candidate Nominations, Fund Raising, Sponsor Offerings,and Canadian Exchange activities.
Photo Gallery: Our favorite location. Photographs and news stories, special events (Santa visits, Learn to Skate awards, Annual Award Presentations, Canadian Exchange) are placed in this category.
From time to time, *Special copyrighted photographs will be displayed on our Web Site. These photographs can be ordered through the contracted supplier. Orders processed through the supplier are not part of our program. Our program is not liable for the service, quality and satisfaction issue for the photographs ordered through a third party.
Tryout Icon: Represent schedules for aspiring hockey players.
Coaching Staff: Displays all coaches and team assignments. Contact information is available by "clicking on" to the individual you wish to contact.
Email Sign Up: By completing the email sign up form, you are giving us permission to send you notices. You will receive updates for the team level you have selected. If you choose to selecte more than one team, you may receive multiple emails for each selected level. You must complete the email registration form and select one or all teams of interest to receive special offers and notices.
Links: These Links offer Parents, Players, Coaches and Fans, an easy access to other leagues of interest. Rink locations/Directions, League Standings and League Game schedules are also available for your use.
Photo Gallery Special:
Dedicated to the Canadian Exchange program: Updates, registration information, and game schedules are available. Participants in the 2008-09 season will require a Passport. Information on how to obtain a passport will be available in September.
Buzzer Hockey and Learn to Skate program: Schedules and activities will be placed in a "News Format" for all of our young players.
Sponsors: This section is dedicated to all those companies and individuals who are supporting our program. These organizations and individuals have provided our program with much needed financial support. We urge all visitors to support our sponsors.
